The People Multiple Podcast
Sharp conversations with founders, investors, and operators who use talent decisions as a primary lever for revenue, resilience, and valuation.
For leaders who know their biggest risk isn't the idea or the market: it's whether they have the right people in the right roles at the right time.
About the Show
People Multiple is a podcast about one of the most underexamined levers in business: the people decisions that compound into revenue, resilience, and valuation.
We talk to operators who've built high-performing teams at scale, investors who bet on talent before traction, and founders who've learned, sometimes the hard way, that a single people call at the right (or wrong) moment can change the entire trajectory of a company.
Each episode zeroes in on a live business question: How do you hire ahead of the curve before the market even knows this exec profile exists? What separates a "great on paper" executive from the operator who can actually carry a number under pressure? When does culture flip from moat to liability? What does a mis-hire really cost, in missed targets, lost time, and down-round risk?
We don't do surface-level. Every episode is a masterclass in treating people decisions with the same rigor as your financials.
Who It's For
The Lens
Capital decisions get models, memos, and diligence before a dollar moves. Talent decisions, just as consequential, almost never get the same discipline.
Boards don't ask, "What's your talent strategy?" They ask about revenue, pipeline, burn, and execution. But if you trace performance variance back far enough, it almost always leads to talent: who is in the seat, whether they're stage-fit, how authority and accountability are distributed, and what behaviors are actually rewarded.
Can we reliably deliver what we commit to across revenue, product, engineering, and services?
Can this organization sustain performance as it scales and comes under pressure?
If something material changes (leadership, market conditions, or ownership), does the system absorb it without destabilizing?
The Host

Founder & Host, People Multiple
Gia Ganesh has built her career on a single conviction: that people decisions are business decisions, and that they're often the hidden driver behind a company's multiple.
She's helped scale teams from early-stage to hundreds of employees, sat in the tension between "hit the plan" and "don't break the culture," and partnered with CEOs and investors when the stakes were real.
People Multiple is the show Gia wanted to listen to but couldn't find: precise, substantive, and built on the premise that talent strategy is business strategy, for founders, investors, and operators whose job is to turn people into performance.
